LHYL History:

This program started thanks to the dedication and determination of Greg Gannon of Litchfield, Lance Loomis of Morris, their wives Kris and Priscilla, and a handful of like-minded parents and Board members.
The Club was formed and had its inaugural season in 2006 with three youth boys teams.
In 2007, we added a high school club boys team.
In 2008, we added girls youth lacrosse.
In 2010, we added a high school club girls team and started our iLax developmental program.
In 2010, we started the NWC (NorthWest Corner) Summer Lacrosse for high school and older players.
In 2011-2012, we helped Wamogo Regional High School start a boys high school lacrosse team.
In 2012, we also started the 30-and-up NWC (NorthWest Corner) Summer Lacrosse for the "older" crowd.
In 2014, we started the NWC (NorthWest Corner) Women's Summer Lacrosse for the girls high school and older players.
In 2015, we celebrated our 10th season of youth and high school lacrosse, with 200 youth and 40 high school participants.
In 2017, US Lacrosse and CONNY, following the Athlete Development Model, adopted new age/grade breakdowns and it was a smooth transition as the kids in our existing iLax level were now in "Bantams".  We also adopted the Lightning level small field, small team, philosophy.
In 2020, as with all other surrounding programs, we canceled our seaon due to Covid.
In 2021, we rebounded and had a successful Spring season.
